ON THE ROAD TO BECOME AN ONE STOP DIGITAL WAREHOUSE
Matching their vision to become a one stop insurance digital warehouse, they asked Imagine Digital to perform an opportunity scan on a fully digital player: hypotheek.nl. By doing this, Centraal Beheer aimed to better understand the potential competence synergies and the market developments and trends. Which could lead to a potential acquisition .

We kick started the project by creating a strategic plan whereby Imagine Digital assessed the market from three perspectives: (1) market research in both the online and offline insurance market, (2) analyzing the success factors of hypotheek.nl and (3) assessing the current market position of Centraal beheer. By organizing a bandlab among the two parties and conducting several interviews we created mutual deeper insights.
We established that an investment should go towards building the “tech” in order to scale the already great analog customer experience. Together, we developed a digital business proposition that removes the burden from customers to provide a “shoebox” of paperwork and a number of tools that let customers model the financial consequences of their decisions.
